In a small burst,
The moon blossomed among the dark fields.
It rushed the young palms blood into frenzy.
Swaying and swaying the young palm’s head,
Shivered its leaves like a million silver blades
Pretending to be sane, the river rolled,
carrying the moon on her breast like a
silly white smear.
